Episode 346: Delays and Tragedy

Last week's episode was delayed by Jonah producing a new show (The Jonah Falcon Show), then by the tragedy on Sunday, August 26. Now, the podcast recorded last week and the one recorded this week have been merged into one big 2+ hour show. Last week's news items included:

As Fall approaches, more info on exciting games are starting to trickle in. That, and Jonah talks about how he's going to Power Morphicon to cover stuff for his upcoming new show. Otherwise, the news this week includes:

Episode 344: Grim Sky at Riot

The guys discuss the recent report by Kotaku released this week on the shady institutionalized sexism at Riot Games, the people behind League of Legends. There's also hints of racism as well, especially since everyone in charge is, well, a white male. Otherwise, T.J. gushes about his experiences at EVO, the fighting game convention/competition, and is looking forward to QuakeCon. The news this week includes:

The World Ends With You for Switch gets release date
IGN pulls review and fires writer for plagiarism
Grand Theft Auto 5 still going strong after five years
And Jonah confesses he still hasn't played GTA5 because, well, GTA4 soured him on the series.

Episode 343: Red Dead Surprise

This week's episode didn't initially have a Gaming Flashback, but the crew accidentally started one with 2010's Red Dead Redemption, which shouldn't be a flashback since it fails the "10 Year Rule", but it was so fun to talk about, it became one. They also found some interesting stuff in a thin-news week, which is the usual for Summer. The news includes:

Episode 342: Heatwave LA

This week was a hot time for Jonah -- really hot time as Los Angeles was sweltering and the Arctic was literally on fire. However, that didn't stop the crew from doing the podcast (albeit a day late), though the news was a bit thin again. The news items for the week include:

Episode 341: Marriage

Episode 340: Batman and Ninjas

Last week's episode was a bust, and there was a strange glitch in this one that caused the audio on Jonah's side to completely cut out. However, it's been recovered, and this episode deals with the direct-to-Blu-Ray animated film Batman Ninja. This week's news includes:

Episode 339: E3 Swag and Sony Sag

This episode follows the three hour long E3 episode, but there was so much E3 to talk about, a lot of the show spilled over into this show, including the crew talking about the swag Jonah sent to them, and Sony's "winning" of E3 in terms of media attention. There was going to be a Gaming History, but the episode ran long and they weren't going to have a two hour podcast after a three hour one. The news of the week includes:
