Episode 327: Power Outage
Sunday Mar 04, 2018
Sunday Mar 04, 2018
This episode's release was delayed by Spectrum internet outage thanks to rain caused by El Niño, but that didn't stop Jonah from enjoying the Turtles. The news was slow this week, so there's a lot of banter about why Gaming Flashback title Grand Theft Auto IV was one of the best reviewed games of all-time, and how the crew thought it sucked. Maybe it was because of Roman constantly asking them if they'd like to go bowling or something. This week's news includes:
CD Projekt touts Cyberpunk 2077 as a "blockbuster franchise"
Minecraft Chemistry update goes live
Bandai Namco outlines plans to address Dragon Ball FighterZ online issues
Let us know what you thought of Grand Theft Auto IV.

Episode 326: Finally, After Three Tries
Sunday Feb 25, 2018
Sunday Feb 25, 2018
So, two weeks ago, the audio was so corrupted, there was nothing that could be salvaged. A week later, the podcast only had one track working, so it was like Jonah speaking to imaginary people only he could hear. This podcast is finally perfect, with Rock Band being the Gaming Flashback. This week's news includes:
System Shock reboot that raised $1.3M on Kickstarter is now on "hiatus"
Dragon Ball FighterZ’s premium DLC characters revealed
Rumor: Diablo III is coming to Nintendo Switch
Let us know what you think.

Sunday Feb 04, 2018
Sunday Feb 04, 2018
This week, TJ talks about how much he's loving Dragon Ball Fighter Z, and how he enjoys using one character's OP exploit to take down opponents with breathtaking quickness. Jonah brings up doing a special podcast, like Paul, Jordan and Jennifer did with Doctor Who, except with Star Trek this time. All this and this week's news, which includes:
Sega teams up with Heavy Rain lead designer's new studio to publish "narrative-driven" game
Rainbow Six: Siege tweet suggests upcoming PS4 Pro & Xbox One X support
Microsoft's Mixer streaming service to get Twitch-style tipping
FIFA E-World Cup forced to switch to Xbox due to PSN outage
This week's Question of the Week is "What game have you ended up playing til sunrise?"

Episode 324: January Blues
Friday Jan 26, 2018
Friday Jan 26, 2018
Aside from cardboard products by Nintendo, there wasn't much to talk about this week, thanks to the January slog. However, the guys did play games and there was some news to talk about. This week's headlines include:
NIS America admits it has no idea when Ys VIII will launch on PC
New Fortnite: Battle Royale update available now
Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age releases in just a few weeks on PC
All this and Listener Feedback, too.
Sunday Jan 21, 2018
Episode 323: Switch Emulation
Sunday Jan 21, 2018
Sunday Jan 21, 2018
This week's episode was recorded on time, but publication was late thanks to power outages again. There's no discussion of Nintendo's $70 cardboard arts and crafts project (that'll be the subject of the next episode), but a Switch emulator does get some discussion. The news this week:
Battlefield 1 is setting one of its maps free this week
LEGO Incredibles 2 and DC Villains games reportedly in the works
BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle has nabbed a Western release date
Stardew Valley creator teases multiplayer
This week's Question of the Week is again “What popular game did you play long after its initial release?”
Friday Jan 12, 2018
Episode 322: Late to the Party
Friday Jan 12, 2018
Friday Jan 12, 2018
This week's episode is a little late due to a power outage. However, despite the lack of really interesting news, the crew still finds plenty to chat about. This week's news includes:
Switch outsells entire lifetime of Wii U in Japan
The Tomb Kings bring crazy new units and crafting to Total War: Warhammer 2
State of Decay 2 is still on for a spring release
Rebellion buys studio Radiant Worlds
The Question of the Week is, "What popular game did you play long after its initial release?"

Episode 321: 2018 Has Begun
Wednesday Jan 03, 2018
Wednesday Jan 03, 2018
The audio quality is a little bad on this podcast, probably because Scott goes on and on about his fractured butt-hole. However, the episode was recorded on January 1, so there isn't much news. The gang also challenges Paul to pop in and do an episode sometime. What news that was discussed includes:
Project Phoenix accused of being a scam
Platinum Games working on two self-published games
Mutant Football League kicks off the New Year with a console launch
All this and Listener Feedback. The Question of the Week remains, "What game are you looking forward to in 2018?"
